a)Position Description:

Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

Reports to: Farm Manager

Are you a Sales and Marketing Officer with a passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing in the coffee industry? Hill Farm is seeking a talented marketing professional to help us develop and execute our marketing strategy, build brand awareness, increase sales, and attract new customers. As the Sales and Marketing Officer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of marketing functions, including branding, digital marketing, content creation, trade show coordination, and sales. If you are a creative, analytical, and results-driven marketer, we want to hear from you.

This role will work closely with the General Manager and the ideal candidate will have experience in a range of marketing functions, including branding, digital marketing, content creation, trade show coordination, and sales

b)Job Description:

  1. Develop and execute Hill Farm’s marketing strategy in collaboration with the General Manager.
  2. Manage Hill Farm’s online presence, including website, social media, and email marketing.
  3. Create engaging content for Hill Farm’s marketing channels, such as blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and other content.
  4. Develop and execute trade show strategies, including booth design and logistics coordination.
  5. Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
  6. Develop relationships with potential customers and partners.
  7. Create marketing materials such as packaging designs, marketing collateral, and presentations.
  8. Monitor and analyze marketing metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and sales.
  9. Ensure that all marketing efforts align with Hill Farm’s brand messaging and visual identity.

c) Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the coffee industry.

OR

  • Diploma in marketing or a similar field with 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the coffee industry.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with trade show coordination, sales, digital marketing, content creation, and branding.
  • Passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing in the coffee industry.
