CMA Mass at St. Paul’s Minor Seminary
Members of the Catholic Men Association (CMA) gathered at St. Paul’s Minor Seminary for Holy Mass with Archbishop Anthony Muheria, coinciding with the celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
In his homily, the Archbishop reflected on the close connection between the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, noting that the love and mission of Christ were nurtured through the loving care and faithfulness of His Mother.
Welcoming the CMA members, he observed that one of their greatest desires is to see young men flourish in faith, character, and purpose. Through their visit, they sought to encourage the seminarians with hope and inspiration, reminding them that men are called to be pillars of both the Church and society.
The Archbishop encouraged the young men to appreciate and honor their mothers, noting that just as Jesus drew strength from Mother Mary, every person is strengthened by the love, sacrifices, and prayers of their mother. He described a mother’s love as pure, selfless, and enduring.
Addressing the CMA members, he urged them to be exemplary husbands, fathers, and Christian leaders by showing love and respect to their spouses and families.
Like St. Joseph, they are called to provide stability, strength, courage, patience, and resilience within their homes and communities.
The Archbishop reminded them that God expects men to persevere in their responsibilities, make sacrifices for others, and never give up in the face of challenges.
Reflecting on the First Reading, he noted that God desires to use each person as an instrument to reach and serve others. He encouraged both the seminarians and CMA members to be prudent in their decisions, avoid overconfidence, resist following the crowd blindly, and seek wise mentors and companions in faith, just as St. Joseph faithfully accompanied and guided the Holy Family.
He concluded by encouraging all present to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God will continue to guide and strengthen them in their vocation and mission.
God bless
