2nd GRADUATION CEREMONY – BODABODA OPERATORS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The bodaboda associate program involves a training program for the bodaboda associates where they learn essential skills and gain knowledge that they can apply in the services that they offer. The ADN Youth Office started working with the bodaboda associates in the year 2020 where it coordinates activities through the sub-county leaders of the bodaboda association. The goal of the program is to form the bodaboda riders in Nyeri County by helping them to upgrade themselves, learn the saving culture and find worthy investments.

93rd GRADUATION CEREMONY – KAMWENJA TEACHERS’ COLLEGE
Kamwenja Teachers College, on of the many Educational institutions of the Archdiocese of Nyeri held their 93rd Graduation Ceremony on Friday 1st July 2022 at the College grounds. The Guest of Honor at the Behest of His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria was the CEO and Director of Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Professor Charles Ochieng Ong’ondo.
OFFICIAL CLOSURE OF THE DIOCESAN PHASE OF THE SYNOD 2021-2023
His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria officially closed the Diocesan Phase of the Synod 2021-2023 at Our Lady of Consolata Cathedral in Mass celebrated in honor of Our Lady Consolata – Patron Saint of the Archdiocese of Nyeri, on Sunday 26th June 2022.
The DIocesan Synod lasted about 8 months and the Synod now proceeds to the continental level till April 2023, and eventually the universal level in October 2023.
The theme of the current Synod on Synodality is “For a Synodal Church’; Communion, Participation and Mission.
His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria was the Chief guest at the Outspan Medical College Student Forum on June 15th 2022. The theme of the forum was “Come let us reason together”
IGH SCHOOL CATHOLIC ACTION RALLY AT QUO VADIS YOUTH HUB
Catholic christian students from High schools across Central and Eastern Kenya congregated at the Quo Vadis Youth Hub for the Catholic Action Rally presided over by His Grace Most Rev, Anthony Muheria.
All the Youth Patrons of the Archdiocese of Nyeri converged at the Quo Vadis Youth Hub on Saturday 11th June 2022 for Mass Celebration with His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria.
THe Confirmation mass at Dedan Kimathi University of Science and Technology was celebrated by His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria.
Confirmation is the sacrament by which Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation.
ANNUAL CENTRAL REGION JOINT THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR UNIFORMED AND DISCIPLINED SERVICES AND THEIR FAMILIES
This is an annual mass celebration held at the Consolata Cathedral church. This year’s celebration was led by His Grace Most Rev. Anthony Muheria on 29th May 2022/
The second last step in the conclusion of the current phase (Diocesan Phase) of the Synod 2021 -2023, is the Diocesan Pre – Synodal Gathering. In the Pre-Synodal Meeting, there is the presentation, discussion, and adoption of the Compiled Reports from all the Parishes and Special Reports. This was done by a Team led by the Archbishop and representatives of the Clergy, Religious, and the Laity, from 22nd to 25th of May at Caritas – Nyeri.
CELEBRATING 75 YEARS OF SERVICE OF BROTHERS OF ST. JOSEPH
On 30th April 2022 there was great joy at the Brothers of St. Joseph Headquarters in Mweiga, Nyeri county as the they celebrated 75 years of service. The celebrations were led by Archbishop Hubertus Matheus Maria van Megen, the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya and South Sudan.
