Prayer Gathering for the Faithful Departed at Mathari
On November 4, 2024, our community gathered at Mathari in prayer to remember the faithful departed. Led by Archbishop Anthony Muheria and accompanied by Archbishop Emeritus Peter Kairo, this solemn Mass was a time of reflection and remembrance.
In his heartfelt message, Archbishop Muheria reminded us of our shared journey, saying, “We do not have a lasting kingdom here on earth.” He encouraged priests and religious leaders to heed Christ’s call to “remove stones and mark the roads, so that the people of God do not lose the way. Be a better sign to heaven.”
Together, we prayed for our departed loved ones:
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
