Family Day & Confirmation – St. Joseph Miiri Catholic Parish
It was a joyful celebration at St. Joseph Miiri Catholic Parish as the faithful marked their Family Day and welcomed 330 Christians through the Sacrament of Confirmation, with Archbishop Anthony Muheria as the main celebrant.
In his homily, the Archbishop reminded the faithful that Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—the path to the Father and the source of true freedom.
He invited all Christians to become the light of the world, spreading the goodness of Christ in their daily lives. Addressing the newly confirmed, he urged them to live in truth and walk faithfully in the ways of Christ.
The Archbishop emphasized that every person is created in the image and likeness of God, calling on all to recognize the face of Christ in one another and to show love, kindness, and compassion regardless of differences.
“Let us always speak words of hope and encouragement.”
