Archdiocese of Nyeri – St. Paul’s Minor Seminary is seeking to recruit for a competent, qualified and suitable person to fill the position of a TEACHER – BUSINESS/ AGRICULTURE or AGRICULTURE/ BIOLOGY.

Job Purpose: To effectively impact knowledge of the curriculum through teaching the assigned subjects and conducting assessments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

He/ she will be responsible for:

1. Teaching all relevant and required lessons;
2. Preparing professional resources that will enable you to deliver your responsibilities as required;

3. Preparing, conducting, invigilating, marking examinations, recording results and maintaining the register and progressive record of the students;
4. Participating in the development and preparation of the institutional development plan;
5. To keep and maintain specified student and class records;
6. In liaison with the immediate supervisor to determines students’ needs for assistance;
7. Performing any other relevant duty as may be assigned.

Required, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

1. Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Education;
2. At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience;
3. Must be TSC registered;
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Capable of maintaining strong relationship;
6. High level of integrity and professionalism;
7. Accuracy and consistency;
8. Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities;
9. Good decision-making skills.
